Super 8 Brothers: At the risk of sounding cliché, yes, these are our favorite Seattle spots
Greg
Hey Chris, I went down to the International District recently to visit my favorite old school video game store, Pink Godzilla. I wanted to see what new-old 8-bit wonder I could pick up.
Chris
Nice. Next time you go, pick me up Pitfall. And, uh, is that Dr. Mario in your pocket?
[More after the jump]
Greg
Maybe. Listen, man, after I left the store, I got to thinking about how I love to spend time in my favorite places, like Chinatown/ID, but after a while, I take for granted the allure of what brought me to these areas in the first place. So on this trip, I brought my Super 8 camera with me and spent the rest of my metered parking time shooting some footage, which you can see here:

I’m ready for Dim Sum. While I satisfy that craving at House of Hong, check out some winter footage from Pike Place Market. At the risk of sounding cliché, it’s one of my favorite places in Seattle and somewhere I always take out-of-town friends. This time, I caught a wedding party right in the middle of the cobblestone road leading into the market. If you don’t want a donut after watching this, you have no soul, my friend. Here is why Seattle loves the food, music and people of Pike Place:

Hey, y’all. Super 8 Brothers is in the lab! This week we are working on a 2010 plan that will include some new goodies for your consumption. We’re coming up with a new logo and new blog features: interviews, film reviews and different video concepts! We’ll still have the trusty three-minute Super 8 music videos, too. Don’t worry. It’s all gonna be awesome and old school. Trust us. —S8B
