No Maps on My Taps! Unique Talkbacks at Village Theatre

Continuing tonight, Village Theatre presents Dance Education Week, a chance for theatre-goers to hear directly from featured dancers currently performing in 42nd Street, a tap dance classic open in Issaquah through this Saturday, and in Everett through August 1.

Following each of the remaining shows, a member of the cast will present a unique talkback about their experiences as a dancer working in a professional production. It seems like a good opportunity for any aspiring musical theatre stars to get a window into the work and realities of that career.

Information on special ticket offers associated with this event after the jump.

DANCE EDUCATION WEEK is open to all, dancers and non-dancers alike. As a tribute to all young dancers in training, Village Theatre is offering 50% off* youth tickets (age 21 and under). If you’re an aspiring dancer currently enrolled in a dance education program, that means you can see 42ND STREET for just $11.50-$29.50 per ticket from June 30-July 3 in Issaquah. We are eager to see you at the Theatre to experience DANCE EDUCATION WEEK and the enthusiastic conversation that follows.

(*Offer is subject to availability and does not apply to previously purchased tickets.)

To arrange your tickets, simply contact the Box Office. To take advantage of the 50% youth ticket price, simply tell the Box Office associate what dance school you or your child are currently attending.
