Who Needs a Block Party? We Got Ice Cream and Bourbon, Suckers!

Not only does Full Tilt make the best darn ice cream in Seattle (my favorite flavor: "ube" or purple yam!) and feature the best darn pinball game of all time (Medieval Madness) at their Columbia City location, they also have hearts of gold and know how to throw a righteous party.

Scoop Fest 2010 will rock the Full Tilt parking lot from 2:00pm-5:00pm on Sunday, July 25. This inaugural free event in Columbia City features free ice cream for the first 300 folks to show up, music by The Femurs, Big Sur and Shenandoah Davis. (Watch her live Song Show performance on our Multimedia page.)

Donations will be gratefully accepted, benefiting the Rainier Valley Food Bank.

There is also a Scoop Fest after-party (21+) at the Bourbon Bar in the Columbia City Theater, beginning at 7:00pm and featuring tunes by Jace Krause (Friday Mile) and Kaylee Cole.

When will you have another opportunity to follow up a double scoop of salted caramel ice cream with a mint julep?

Full Tilt is located at 5041 Rainier Ave S, just south of the Columbia City Business District. (Pass the now-closed Angie’s Tavern, head through the next stoplight and you’ll see Full Tilt in the strip mall on your right-hand side.)
