The Art of Being Tacoman: Farrelli's and a Cocktail I Won't Name Here

6th Ave is one of the prime "strips" for food, drinks and vintage shopping in Tacoma.

On a recent visit to Farrelli's, I discovered Hot Monkey Vodka, a pepper infused concoction that will kick you in the taste buds and burn just a wee bit going down. I quite liked it in my bloody mary. Another popular drink using the infused spirit? Hot Monkey Sex (Hot Monkey Vodka shaken with peach schnapps and cranberry juice).

Fun to say out loud, though I think that is one for the "acquired tastes" book.
