The Warehouse + Beyond the Bridge Cafe = Musical Delight

The Warehouse and the Beyond the Bridge Cafe are teaming up again for a show this Saturday at 7:30pm at the Cafe, featuring prominent talents from the local indie/folk music community.
Valerie Warren, a senior at SOTA in Tacoma, has spunk; she narrates tales in a sing-song, boisterous twang, accompanied by her own acoustic guitar.
Poulsbo natives, Lemolo, aka Meagan Grandall and Kendra Cox (shown above) create a lovely, haunting sound. Their combination of piano, drums and guitar, mingled with the ladies' velvety vocals, has a surreal, dreamy quality.
Ritchie Young of Loch Lomond will grace the stage, likely strumming his violin (yes I said strumming - preview it in our Song Show video below).
Finally, Shenandoah Davis, who recently funded a second record via Kickstarter, due out next spring, will be performing. This songstress displays an impressive, throaty and unique range, undoubtedly thanks to her operatic training.
Thinking about this line-up playing in such an intimate venue in Tacoma makes me a little giddy. Granted, that may also be the idea of indulging in the BBC's sandwich The Benny (a spicy, bagel-sandwich delight).
