More engaging than Metro Transit's tweets, less morbid than the police department feed, the Seattle Public Library joined Twitter earlier this month to post on all manner of library-related things. (Books! Remember those?)
Faceless librarian have tweeted about eBooks and photoshoots, and contributed to the trending topic #lessambitiousbooks (Charlie and the Organic Carob Co-op, Ender’s Card Game, and The Peckish Games).
Best is their service-oriented bent: “Saturday night with Zooey Deschanel? We have 26 copies of (500) Days of Summer on DVD sitting on the shelf.”
It should be noted that Ms. Deschanel has arguably the most interesting celebrity Twitter around.
