Seattle's Official Song Sung Off

It's hard to deny the power of a rousing a cappela performance. Am I right, Sing-Off fans? Well, the City of Seatte has now been blessed with that power, courtesy of the Duke's Men of Yale.

As you can see, the Duke's Men recently christened City Hall with their mouths alone, singing the century old official song of Seattle, "Seattle the Peerless City." Nicole Scherzinger might not find the performance as "orgasmic" as Groove for Thought*, but it's definitely worthy of a high five between Ben Folds and Shawn Stockman. All we're missing here is a dead-eyed introduction by Nick Lachey.

Joking aside, it's a nice rendition of a long forgotten piece of Seattle history, led by son-of-city-attorney Paul Holmes.

*I don't remember if this is the right group, but Schezinger did declare one of those groups orgasmic, which was really uncomfortable for us all. Don't do it again.
