Get intimate with zoe | juniper on Saturday

Local experimental dance, video and performance installation duo zoe | juniper are gearing up for the world premiere of their latest work, A Crack in Everything. The new piece will debut in late July at the Jacob's Pillow festival in the Birkshires and will be staged at On the Boards in December. Zoe and Juniper are not holding open rehearsals at OtB to preview the production (as we erroneously said they were in our July event recommendations), but they are offering an intimate look at the art, music, video, costumes and set design during a pre-tour event at the Canoe Social Club this Saturday.

A Crack in Everything sounds like a serious mind-bender full of intriguing philosophical questions. So if you're curious to see how it came together and you want a chance to mingle with the artists themselves, head over to Canoe between 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Saturday. Tickets are $20 and are available for advance purchase here. The Canoe Social Club is located at 417 E. Loretta Place on Capitol Hill.
