Every month, City Arts goes for a colorful, glossy romp inside our arts community, catching up with artists in-process, visiting stages and studios all over town to give our readers a bird’s-eye view of what our region’s up to.

But in October, we ratchet up the whole operation to produce a festival befitting our kooky corner of the country. (For indisputable evidence of said kookiness, please refer back to the cover photo.) We make a weekend from the ethos of this magazine.
