Comic Book Ink (1625 East 72nd St., 253.761.4651) is winner of the Oscar of the comics world, the Will Eisner Spirit of Comics Retailing Award. Owner John Munn, who opened the shop five years ago, gives his ardent customers credit for putting him on the funny papers map. “The people make the shop,” he says. Frequent signings by artists and writers attract hundreds of ardent collectors. No joke.
