The Song Show: Shenandoah Davis

Shenandoah Davis sings "Our Favorite Idols" from her album We; Camera at The Song Show XI, held at the Can Can on August 27, 2009.

Playing at a slightly faster tempo than the album version, Davis shows off her classical influences. Mixed with the haunting tinkling sound of an early 19th century lounge piano, her uniquely quirky voice slides into high notes with an ease reminiscent of Joanna Newsom.

Davis is on the rise to becoming a Seattle folk favorite and has gained international attention as well, boosted by the showing of her music video for "We; Camera" at the Cannes Film Festival.
