Favorite art walk?
Capitol Hill
Why?
Light on pretense, heavy on smiles, proximity to yummy eats.
How would you make it better?
Any or all of the following: people movers/escalators, teleportation devices, time machines, jet packs, weather-controlling technology.

Favorite art walk?
Capitol Hill
Why?
It’s in my neighborhood and I’ve gotten to know many of the artists and gallery owners.
How would you make it better?
Bigger, more consistent signage. Simple “ART WALK TONIGHT” sandwich boards announcing events while they are occurring could help boost the art walk’s presence. So many people are out on Thursday nights on Capitol Hill, and are often unaware they are breezing right past these arts events, especially since most of the locations are multipurpose venues.

Favorite art walk?
Pioneer Square
Why?
The number of galleries, artists and supporters involved.
How would you make it better?
Perhaps, a further mixing of Debord’s Theory of the Dérive with Bey’s T.A.Z. [Temporary Autonomous Zone] wherein for a night, in a certain contained area, a liberated space is imagined: Folks dressed in Sunday best, strolling with carafes of wine and hip flasks. A touch of the Carnival, with spontaneous performance leading to marvelous encounters of objective chance.
